Bill Schmuhl has broad experience in general and financial management, law, public accounting, management consulting, college teaching and academic administration. He currently teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Financial Accounting in the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame where he is also a member of the College Council and serves on the Curriculum Committee of the Master of Science in Business Program.
In addition to his academic responsibilities, Bill serves on the Board of Directors of Heywood Williams USA, Inc., JSJ Corporation, and Rieth-Riley Construction Co., Inc. In the non-for-profit sector he serves on the Campaign Leadership Cabinet for the Memorial Children’s Hospital, and the boards of Saint Mary’s College, the Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana/Michiana, and Discovery Charter School. Previously he served on the Boards of Miscor Group, Ltd., Thakar Aluminum Corporation, Vitro Diagnostics, Inc., Memorial Health Foundation , The Stanley Clark School and WNIT Public Television.
