- Biography
Blase Reardon’s business career has led him from pioneering industrial applications of computer technology to one of the most experienced and successful construction industry mediators. With a civil engineering degree and an acceptance to the prestigious graduate program at Carnegie Mellon, Blase heeded the advice of a college mentor and entered the newly created specialty of industrial administration. He went on to spend nearly 40 years in the metals and construction industries specializing in creative problem-solving and instituting innovation and best practices.
Given his distaste for inefficiency, Blase was drawn to the emerging field of alternative dispute resolution. Blase underwent intensive study on the principles of negotiation with top academics in the field at Harvard University’s acclaimed “Program on Negotiation.” With this advanced training, Blase has successfully mediated numerous disputes in the design and construction field and has served in a court facilitation program in Boston.
Blase believes strongly in the power of facilitative mediation and brings his penchant for thorough preparation, careful listening and infectious optimism to help parties find acceptable resolutions to conflict.
