Tom Claassen is a Shareholder in the Accounting, Assurance and Business Advisory Services practice of Schneider Downs & Co., Inc. He has over 42 years of experience in providing a broad range of services to both publicly and privately owned companies. Tom oversees the delivery of the firm’s business valuation, litigation support and forensic accounting services. He has testified as an expert witness in both Federal and State Courts and was appointed as a Special Master for the U.S. District Court of Western Pennsylvania.
Tom also serves as the financial trustee of special purpose trusts established in connection with environmental cleanup projects. He has provided business valuation services to numerous business owners in connection with partnership, shareholder and buy / sell agreements.
Drawing upon his extensive financial experience, Tom’s insightful questions assist business parties to better understand their position and alternatives. He is friendly, optimistic and persistent in finding solutions to problems.
