Michael Pivoz is both a CPA and lawyer but has devoted his career to public accounting. He joined the accounting firm of Mellen, Smith & Pivoz PLC in 1974 and was admitted as a Member in 1979. Mike provides extensive business services to clients in a wide range of industries and professions including distribution businesses and physician practices. His specific areas of expertise include tax, accounting, fraud, and forensics.
Using his legal and financial background, Mike has provided expert testimony and analysis on disputes involving the full range of financial issues including economic loss, business valuation, employee investigations and insurance matters. Mike has a thoughtful and analytical approach to business problem solving.
