Denny held a number of positions with the H.J. Heinz Company domestically, working his way up through the management ranks in Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, and Process Improvement. Was Vice-President in the areas of Logistics, Systems and Process Change, and Customer Support, and was responsible for the combined supply chain, transportation, warehousing, and customer service functions for H.J. Heinz’ large domestic affiliates Heinz USA, Star-Kist, Heinz Pet Products, Ore-Ida, and Weight Watcher Foods.
Also served as Vice-President Process Development at the world-wide H.J. Heinz Corporate level, participating in numerous global restructuring initiatives, primarily in Europe, which significantly reduced cost and improved business processes.
Recognized as one of the Top 20 Logisticians nationally by the Logistics Forum in 2000.
Owner and Managing Partner of a sports performance training franchise, whose mission it was to provide young people access to sports-specific training leaving them stronger, faster, and quicker, and better able to compete in sports and life.
Most recently has worked for mid-size contract food and snack manufacturers and a third-party logistics firm in the Grand Rapids area, bringing his experience, knowledge capital, and mentoring capabilities to bear upon unique challenges inherent in those business sectors.
