Biography

Edward Rog has a 35 year plus business career that includes both corporate and small business management experience.  In addition to his broad background in general business issues, Ed is an automotive industry specialist having worked for several industry leaders as well as forming a highly successful dealership group and serving as an automotive trade association officer.

Ed served in various management roles with the Hertz Corporation as an operations manager and staff support leader.  His expertise includes customer service, sales, labor relations, budget planning and human resources.

During his tenure at GE Capital Fleet Services he was instrumental in a major consolidation of merging companies where he managed asset re-marketing and client relations on a national level.  As a small business owner, Ed founded and developed a network of multiple wholesale and retail dealerships in the auto leasing industry.  He also served as President and a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Fleet Resale Dealers (NAFRD).

Currently, Ed assists his alma mater, the University of Notre Dame, Mendoza College of Business as a recruiting associate with the Executive MBA Program in Chicago.  Ed also volunteers as a development conduit at Saint Francis and St. Joseph High Schools and he serves the DuPage County Election Commission as a Field Representative.

Testimonials

“I have known Ed for over 25 years and watched his progress as a business leader and catalyst for positive change.  Most recently and after Ed sold his business, I am fortunate to have Ed as a colleague working with me with key relationships to build a strong application group for the Chicago-based Notre Dame EMBA.  Ed’s success is equally driven by his business IQ, his positive attitude, his communication skill, his fairness, and his ability to forge positive relationships. I know he will serve mediation clients well.”
