Gary Blume has a business career that includes corporate personnel management and training. He worked in seven cities in five states during his ten year career for one of the country’s largest retailers before beginning his career in real estate.
His real estate experience is very broad, including site selection for commercial institutions, real estate residential sales, broker-owner management and ownership of an appraisal service. He was part of a group of businessmen who founded a neighborhood bank that currently consists of the main office and seven branch locations. He has served in director or advisory roles for three financial institutions and currently serves as an Associate Director of the largest credit union in the area.
Mr. Blume has developed subdivisions and built houses in the Metropolitan Memphis area and now serves as managing broker for a local real estate firm that is part of America’s largest real estate franchise. He has served as past president of the local board of REALTORS and twice served as president of the Tennessee Educational Foundation. He also is a Mediation instructor for local REALTORS across Tennessee.
He has mediated disputes involving contract interpretations, partnership arrangements, procuring cause disputes, land purchases with conflicting ownership claims, ethical complaints and complex multi-agent commission disagreements.
